| Site: Airshows
Member: Eric Schnaible |
Wonder what airshows are going on this weekend that Air Force assets are approved/eligible to support? Need to access a DD Form 2535 to request a flyover in your community? Searching for good hotlinks to those "other" aerial demo teams and the airshow industry? This is the place. Since Feb 98, SAF/PA has the responsibility to approve aviation-related events (vice OASD/PA) per a Defense Reform Initiative. |

This web page salutes Clark Air Base, a great Air Force assignment which is now part of history. The site includes many photos of the base and the surrounding community taken prior to the eruption of Mount Pinatubo. There are also links to other sites about Clark, and the Philippines. Information about an "anecdotal history" of the base Tom is working on is also included. |

The "Windows for Remy" website has an interesting background. In 1944, American P-51's blew up a German ammunition train near the small town of Remy, north of Paris. The explosion did extensive damage, including the loss of seven stained-glass windows in the village's 13th century church. This website represents a group raising money to replace the windows. There is a lot more to the story. Check it out! |
